I don’t know

Why all these tomatoes are on the ground.

Back on August 10 I photographed this field which was nothing but sticks. I know the workers have been picking and boxing tomatoes as I have seen them when I drive by this field.

It seems such a waste to have so many on the ground as many rows looked exactly like this.

Maybe they have to be just perfect in order to be harvested and sold. But the imperfections would make good ketchup or tomato sauce.

Sons and the two grand daughters will be here tomorrow for Thanksgiving meal. So thankful! The step granddaughter will be at her fiancé’s family gathering but we plan to see them at Christmas.
