Sorted

An odd sort of day - other than walking the dog in lovely warm morning sunshine, the rest was mostly doing nothing at home until a spurt of late afternoon activity generated when the Cargo company contacted me mid afternoon to say they'll come tomorrow to collect my shipment for sending home to the UK.  I have had personal belongings in storage here since retiring in covid in July 2020. I sent most of it home this time last year and left the rest in our depot here. However, recent purchase of the villa and the prospect of moving has made me look again at what I do and don't need, in my life and in which country I do and don't want it.  Sorting stuff included digging out these pocket dolls made 3+ years ago for charity and in storage ever since. This coming Sunday is the local CoDA* Christmas Fayre and I'm running a stall selling various handmade gifts, (previously blipped) and now including some of these dolls. After dinner, the evening was spent watching Netflix (Nanny McFee 2) - a low key watch to keep me partially occupied whilst putting knitted dolls in to cellophane bags - makes them more attractive for selling I think (hope) ?
