Waders

It was sunny and less windy today but much colder, and the vaccine side-effects have worn off after a good night's sleep.
After a morning of household chores we went to the tip and then the garden centre where we had lunch and bought a few things.
Next a visit to the coast for a short walk. The tide was just going out and there were increasing numbers of waders near the edge of the water. mostly too far away to get good pics with the camera lens I had on but they are still good in a general view. The Turnstones were least timid and I got a better shot of 2 of them, see extras. There were Golden, Grey and Ringed Plovers, Knot, Dunlin, Bar-tailed Godwits, Oyster Catchers, Redshanks, Curlews as well as Eider Ducks, Black-headed Gulls, Herring Gulls, and possibly some other birds - all in less than a mile of coastline.
We're going out to the MOuntain Film Festival soon, so I hope I stay awake!
