Toad

Helen has been transplanting violas today.She was a little shocked when one of the transplanted packs came down the conveyor belt with a pair of legs sticking out.
This poor toad had been scooped up in the tractor bucket when the hopper was being loaded with compost.It had then gone through the tray filling machine, through the loading unit and onto the transplanter. It had had a viola transplanted up its arse before coming down the conveyor where Helen found it upside down with its back legs sticking up.We rescued it and put it in the tunnel to recover.What an ordeal for the poor creature.

In other news my Dads gates blew in today.The latches where damaged beyond repair and it surprised me how much of the day it has taken repairing them.

Very windy all day but at least it has been dry.
