....and relax

An even earlier start this morning (3.30am) as we had a taxi booked to get us to the airport and home for 8.

I then headed off to the folks house to see my dad on fathers day, spend the day with my girls and pick up the pooch.

My dad seemed to like his beers and the Seasick Steve album and I was more than impressed with the array of drawings and cards the girls made for me! I do love a homemade present! They also bought me chocolate, beer, pretzels and a DVD. We had a lovely day playing altogether, including the dog, in the sunshine and my dads t-bone steak he did for me on his BBQ was almost as big as my plate!

In contrast it was very different from the previous few days in Paris, but equally as enjoyable for differing reasons. I'm really looking forward to them coming for the full weekend, in 5 days (and counting...)
