Birthday Card

Jamie's 21 today .... and I failed to take a single picture of him!   So the card I made for him for today will have to do.  It's also true that I have few pictures of him from the last year that do not include either a horse or a dog :-)   Nice that the is one of him, wearing his engagement ring, with me and my Mum.

I joined Jamie and Ruth for a breakfast of hot Pain au Chocolat before some cards and presents were opened.   Then I shopped for food that Jamie had chosen for the day .... and cooked it!   J & R went out to the local zero waste shop and then on to Cotteridge Park with Bella.   By the time they got back the roast meal was ready.  Delicious, with strong echoes of Christmas!   There was also cake.  I had made a chocolate fudge cake in advance, Jamie and I whisked up a chocolate ganache to go with it.  Also delicious :-)

I drove home this evening, finding a light frost here in Tywyn as I parked up at midnight.  Jamie is stopping on with Ruth until Sunday.
