FFFFREEEEZING ON SILLY SATURDAY!

Yosef the Yeti here - otherwise known as the Abominable Snowman.  You know I am used to very cold weather, living in the Himalayas, so I was thrilled to know that the HCBs intended going over to Mrs. HCB’s field as there was a hard frost last night.  In fact, in the HCBs’ garden, it was down to -2C, which although not that cold for me, they said it was fffreeezing!

As we all started to get ready to go, Kevin the Koala decided that he would rather stay at home because he doesn’t like the cold, so he sat on top of the newell post at the bottom of the stairs and said he would wait for us to come back so that we could tell him all about our adventures - you can see a shot of him at the bottom of the collage.

Everyone was very excited and especially Mrs. HCB as she said she hadn’t been over to her field for months - they were both sensible and not silly and wore their walking boots but Mrs. HCB’s are very old and she said her feet were very cold and felt wet.

It was very silly to sit us all on the frosty grass, we thought, but at least you can see the frost.  You can also see the frost on their boots.  We think that Admirer would have laughed if she could have seen us all hopping around because we had cold bottoms!

P.S.  Mrs HCB has asked me to apologise on her behalf - she was very tired yesterday, so didn't do any commenting but rested instead - she is getting more sensible the older she gets!
