Watch your feet

Yesterday evening we went to the Mountain Film Festival, some short films and a talk about cycling in the hills, a good evening.
Up promptly today to drop off Mr Rat for a run with friends and then go for one myself not far away. It was cold, bright and still and most of the mud was frozen - though the ruts along the field edge where the ice puddles were required careful footwork.
It was a slow run making sure I avoided trip hazards (some hidden under leaves), trying to see with the low sun and stopping for pics but it was so lovely I went a bit further than planned, nearly 6 miles completed, but still was home but 10.30am. As I had spare extras I've added a couple of light and view.
I cleared some leaves and small branches and hope there aren't too many more storms to bring down more.
Some knitting and not much else of note the rest of the day.
