Lookout
Such a stunning day, decided we just had to get out for a walk - here we are up in Monsaraz about to walk out one of the front gates onto one of the medieval schist roadways down the hill. Fun identifying various landmarks, like Reguengos (on the horizon just to the right of Mike).
Ended with pizzas in my current favourite café, Sahida (photos on WhatsApp status). The light through the red bougainvillea and turning grape leaves would have been my Blip, but Mike preferred this.
(Have discovered that if I put my camera in portrait mode, it doesn't overexpose, but rather flat. Still no idea what's going on.)
Gratefuls:
- two gorgeous grey kittens at Sahida
- our wood burner; it's going down to 3C tonight
- making Blipper Maureen's mincemeat, smells good
