2023 Saturday — Madonna Inn

So we took a little excursion to San Luis Obispo this afternoon to visit the Madonna Inn so that our daughter could purchase some of the Inn’s famous pink sugar sprinkles from the gift shop for a friend who wanted them to use with her holiday baking.

To our delight the Inn is thoroughly decorated for the twelfth month celebration. Christmas is magnified in every square inch of this unique hotel and restaurant.

After leaving the Inn we wanted to go to the “Assistance League’s Thrift Store.” They were closed; we surmised that all the volunteers had voted to not be open during this Thanksgiving holiday weekend. So we stopped at the Achievement House thrift store and Fred & Betty’s thrift store, and the Hospice thrift store. Then it was time to get back to the coast. The sunset was spectacular.

This final Saturday of November has been a good day with our daughter.
