Beginnig or End

We seemed visually confused today. the last Sunday in the church year, Christ the King, and our liturgical colour is still red. We also still have poppies in from Remembrance. However, the preparation has started for next week's Christmas Tree Festival and the trees were already in church today. It's not even Advent (the start of the church year and purple in colour) but the signs of Christmas are around.
