Not jelly, I think

After the recent windy weather most of the crabapples ended up on the ground. I thought I'd leave them for the birds and beats but it turns out they're too sour and no one wants to eat them. So I've picked up the pretty ones, and taken the last handful off the tree, and I think I'll donate them to the wreath making at school next week. Not sure they're really good enough for jelly any more.

Went off to see friends at their new place in deepest East Lothian today. We got in a good walk with them but our plan to head on to the seaside afterwards got cancelled by the drizzly grey weather that appeared after lunch. That did mean we had a very relaxing afternoon and delicious dinner though.
