PART 2 OF THE TREEFEST

We started talking and planning this event when we were in Tel Aviv airport after our Israel tour in February!!!!
In the morning we spent time hoovering up pine needles, tidying the church and setting up refreshments. We had a slow trickle of visitors until 5pm. The children from the local school came in a class at a time so their excitement was delightful. The school choir also came and sang so beautifully that they pulled in people who were passing. I’m glad a decision was made to open a few stalls and set up a donation pot as we took about £300!
The Rev went to cinema with O tonight so had had time to finish the preparation for our visitors tomorrow……soooo busy I’m ready for bed!!
