Crafting at work today too.
First I wrapped chili salt jars in cellophane and tied ribbons around in red and beige.
Then I was going to make some decorations for the candles that are being made, so... I thought about my blip friend Valentina64 and what she was dressing her Christmas tree in... and a question to one of the bosses lead to a pack of straws and red sewing thread. After a bit of thinking (and two 'prototypes') I ended up with these. My boss (who were in a meeting when I came up with the idea) though these really nice and gave approval as candle decoration.
These are really easy to make. Just soak the straw in water and they will get easier to work with. I cut 5 pieces of the same size (one straw = one star), then I attache two straws together at the end with thread so they form the letter V. And repeat that. Then I put the two V together, each end creating a point in the star. Finally I attache the last piece of straw and connect the points with thread.
I also found another version of a star that I want to try tomorrow. :)
And there were some customers too in-between my crafting and wrapping.
I had plans to do things when I came home, but I've been feeling a bit under the weather today, so easy evening with mostly rest, and tea.
