Drove down the M1 to meet C at Heart of the Shires shopping centre. I was driving into the very bright sunshine for most of the way. Although the countryside was looking beautiful it wasn’t a pleasant drive as my vision was seriously impaired in places. We did very little shopping, mainly spending the time in the cafe catching up over coffee and lunch. She has had some bad family news, and the repercussions of that are making her anxious and sad. I mostly sat and listened as I felt that was what she needed.
Got home about 5 and had a cup of tea and a mince pie before going to collect LM and then FJ and drive to Tollerton to our Scandi Stars workshop . We met JS, LM and NH there, and the six of us had a good time with Jane and we all successfully produced a star. Got home about 10 after dropping the others off, watched Bake Off and went to bed.
