India Rose

A very red faced India Rose caused by accidentally going for a ten mile fell run when she meant to go for three miles. She asked me if I would drop her off so she could go for a run near Mungrisedale (Blencathra) With minimal spats we managed to get there without a mother / daughter blow up. However having just left her teens - upon setting off there was an unintelligible grunt - some teenage habits she has retained (that apparently meant "I am going to do the short one - up and back down" So she did and I wasn't there but seven miles away in a different valley awaiting her return (and getting anxious) I was just about to call mountain rescue (the shame) when she arrived sweating, red but amazingly good tempered considering. We had to cut short our visit to Sainsburys as she was on the verge of passing out due to lack of food.
