Harvest

I spent the day preparing for our Thanksgiving dinner, which is tomorrow because of family complications. You wouldn’t think it would be so disorienting to switch weeks, but oh my, it is. The whole arbitrary construction of time is so ingrained. When you shake it a little bit things get very confused. 
There will be more food prep in the morning, and then Mr S will take over and do the turkey in the grill outdoors. For now, I’m just gonna quit the kitchen and spend some time with the visiting fam.
