The garden keeps on giving
MrMacD was mowing a piece of grass this afternoon and found these gorgeous peonies flopping over on the ground, so he rescued them. Such a joy.
The box hedge on the left-hand side of the front path is now completely gone and its place has been taken by a selection of plants that will provide beauty and colour. It has made such a difference.
I finished painting the laundry room, so tomorrow the carpet can be vacuumed, the fridge can be moved back into place and maps can go up on the walls to add colour. I’m rather pleased to have another project ticked off.
J the plasterer popped in today, had a look at what’s required and will come first thing tomorrow to get started.
We have a treat … two pomegranates. MrMacD deseeded them and the arils are now in containers in the fridge ready to be sprinkled on cereal and salads and mixed into couscous, providing delicious bursts of flavour.
