Taking advantage

This hollyhock has been being sheltered by a stone wall and a car.. today the car is not here so it is shining in the sun. We had the heaviest frost of the winter, so far, last night and yet it looks beautiful in the sun.  I have fed the little birds as they are hungrily munching their way through the seeds and mealworms and I’ve come in to a hot cup of coffee to defrost myself!!
The sun is shining.. makes for a good day.
