Half past one

I was out all morning doing some Christmas shopping and briefly seeing my sister to hand over something she left with us.  By half past one the temperature had still not reached above 0C and the freezing fog was just beginning to burn off our valley.  It really is absolutely freezing.  Thankful for the sun which is now in a clear blue sky briefly before sunset in an hour or so.
Radio 2 on in the car played almost wall to wall Christmas numbers.. no wonder we are bored of them by the time we get to Christmas!
