Roll With It

Up In Lights

I guess a little celebration goes a long way, Monday morning and the scoreboard remains lit with yesterday’s result still showing.
How good is that?
Sam and I headed out to spend the pensioners winter fuel allowance, mine, on logs and coal for our open fire, you cannot beat it. Regulations specify which logs and coal - global warming - fossil fuels etc but the supplier knows what’s what. Delivery is now in bags rather than loose and left for us to move that’s booked for Wednesday.
Coffee and cake on the way home with the bare minimum of shopping, we leave Friday, the bread and milk etc need to be run down by then.

I made a beef & barley stew before heading off alone to watch Napoleon at the cinema. At two and a half hours long it’s a ‘bum number’ and according to the French it supposedly plays “fast & loose” with history. My take, I go to the cinema to be entertained if I wanted a history lesson I’d go to a lecture.
Home to Mrs S for some of the stew for dinner, it’s getting colder.
