They finally flew the nest...

Or butterfly home in this case....
Our butterflies stayed in the shelter of their pot plant under the back porch all night but during my day at work two made their way into the wild. So when we got home me and my daughter gently encouraged the last two out to fly away and off they went. It was nice to actually see them fly away, i was worried they were going to just die in the plant pot. Maybe the muggy heat and small amount of sun we have today gave them the boost they needed. Sad to say goodbye to our little pets but nice to see them fly off into the wild where they should be.
I am a bit of a soppy mare, Quite funny that I became protective and attached to some caterpillars and butterflies, my work mates found it quite amusing :D

Here is the last of our butterflies to fly off, took him a while before he finally took off into the sky and disappeared out of sight.
