On a low branch
Went to Snells Beach to S' brothers house (next door to (no longer) our beach house. Settlement day was Tuesday. We collected a half dozen mainly very big pots, removed the old plants, and brought the empty pots back.
Throughout the task of emptying the pots we were fortunate to hear Tui singing. Until the one in my blip came down to a lower branch, I caught only occasional glimpses. This one allowed a series of photos. When I was young I understood that Tui were just black with a white Parson's cravat. (Hence the name Parson Bird) In fact Tui are colourful birds.
