Dean Sullivan better known as Jimmy Corkhill from the smash hit channel four soap, Brookside, dies from prostate cancer aged 68.

I have to say out of all the actors in the soap he was one of the best. fantastic actor fantastic soap. It was a pleasure to smudge him!
