Sparkly

Well we’ve been in Paris about 6 hours and we’re knackered already. We’ve been to Galeries Lafayette to admire the Christmas display, which was incredible, then we did the Tulerie Gardens Christmas Market, which was huge, crazy and involved a lot of cheese melted in 100 different ways.

We can see the Eiffel Tower sparkling away from our hotel room - tomorrow we ascend it. The advance tickets were all sold out other than the ones that included a glass of champagne - Sarah doesn’t drink alcohol so I’ll have to have hers too - tough life. One of the things that one cannot take up the tower is a parachute. Dammit, that’s my fun spoiled.
