First snow of the season

Woke this morning to see the first snow of the season on The Trossachs , the Gateway to the Scottish Highlands where they already have snow.

Meanwhile the temperature plunged to -4C overnight and its bitterly cold. So glad we have received the winter fuel allowance. It’s going to be needed.

I just don’t know how some people are going to manage. This is the first time in our lives we have ever had to worry about heating bills.

Delighted to receive a modest amount of money from the publisher this morning for my book  The Children of Craig-y-nos which I co co-authored with Dr Carole Reeves, some 14 years ago.
