Grey scale

Grey with mist is very beautiful to walk in in the morning.  This is the field that is full of corn husks where Woody presumably sourced the cause of his blockage. Or a badger brought it into our garden as they do get spread around the neighbourhood. 

Very cold all day.  I was on a notes zoom most of the morning and in the afternoon started to feel a bit coldly and rather paralysed with what to do.  So I did necessary but easy tasks, read a script I knew we’d turn down, watched an ep of Wreck our other show which was fun, tidied up a few loose ends. Peaceful in my barn office, heater on, candles lit, with a big cashmere sweater and wrap round me.  

Rory rang me to discuss a job offer which sounds terrible and dangerous so I did my best to talk him out of it.  Enough said here but there’s going to be sleepless nights if he does it!  

Lovely to have a quiet night in.  We watched an ep of Shetland and of Culprits, penultimate both.
