DAY 3….BLIZZARD CONDITIONS
The Rev cooked us a fabulous breakfast to set us up for more touring.
#Back on the tour bus to visit “Lesser Town of Prague”…a small square the other side of the river.
##we saw many more beautiful buildings…interesting architecture and everything so well kept.
#we “hopped” of our hop-on hop-off bus at the square and stop for our first glass of warm wine. It’s the cheapest drink to buy at £2!!!
We popped into a few tourist shops and walked over the famous Charles Bridge. Clair waited for us as her mobility is so poor but with regular wine stops she’s doing well.
It started snowing when we were on the bridge, then the wind blew up…it was freezing!!!
#The Rev and I snuggled to try and keep warm for this photo!!! bbbbrrrr
We walked around the tiny streets trying to shelter from the wind!!! After about 15 mins walk we found a bagel shop that served warm wine…so in the cause of research we had a bagel and wine No2 (and 3 as it was the best so far!!) The bagels were amazing…would recommend this little shop.
We then got back on the bus for check out the red route. Very interesting but rubbish views because of the snow!!! Glad we did yesterday’s tour. By the time we got back to our apartment at 5…we were wet and cold (but the snow was beautiful). We decided to stay in with pizzas and a film or 2!!!
#oh and some funny drinking games.
Lots of laughter
Quite a bit of cheating.
Cheers.
