New Derwentwater Tree

We arrived in Keswick and the weather was a bit grim! We unpacked the car and decamped to our top floor rented apartment. 

We then kitted ourselves out for a short walk around Derwentwater, but went for lunch first.

As the spindly tree has now fallen over this might be the next best tree on the lake shore. The extra image is one of Witches' Butter fungi.

We met up with friends John and Debs for a meal out in Keswick this evening.
