Explored at a slightly slower pace!!

Despite a super early start, today was a slightly more relaxed day.
We started out at Père Lachaise - noted to be the world's most visited cemetery & that which accommodates an estimated 1 million people, of which Jim Morrison, Oscar Wilde, Edith Piaf & Marie Curie are included.
We didn't manage to cover all 48 hectares but being there so early was sublime & such a place of tranquility in the hustle of bustle of the French capital.
We were there for a few hours & as we were leaving, groups of people were then winding the 90+ divisions in droves - therefore almost distorting the reason why you would perhaps go there in the first place.
We headed back to Monmatre for a vintage shop hunt (pretty unsuccessful!) before mooching south towards the Seine & to Notre Dame.
The sun was kind to us & we bought some lovely French food for an on the balcony Farewell Paris tea.

It's been nice to relax away from the stresses and strains that so have hampered our homelife lately.
Early rise in the morning for our 7:15am flight home...Paris has been lovely, Alexander's company pleasing & it has reignited a love of language in me. Perhaps I do enjoy speaking French after all.
*Cue refresher course....?!?*
