Prague

I flew to Prague today, to join Elbows who has been working here all week. It’s only the second time I’ve flown alone since my twenties but all went smoothly and without hiccough … except for my journey from the airport to the hotel where I was meeting him. Hmmm.

Anyway, it was a quick turnaround to go out to dinner with one of the other speakers. And what an amazing opportunity it was to sit and listen and talk to John Lennox for a few hours. He is a godly, wise, gentleman who shines - he’s so well known and highly regarded but you’d never know. Oooh, I could hang around him any day.

A short’ish walk around the neighbourhood before catching an Uber to our own hotel more central to the city and very much surrounded by bustle. It was tricky getting in after hours - tricky enough for me to think for a while, that our hotel booking was a scam. But we’re in. It’s basic and very fine.

I can’t wait to see more of Prague. I’ve never been here before. Elbows is working tomorrow so I’m on my own for the first bit.
