Prague unveiled a bit
The snow fell lightly all day.
I walked and walked and walked all morning and into the early afternoon - not buying anything but visiting lots of shops, churches and stalls. Christmas markets start in earnest tomorrow but it got busier and busier. When I felt done in, I sat in a coffee shop drinking hot wine and waiting for Elbows to meet me.
We wandered back to the Old Town after having climbed up and up on slippery ice to see the castle but then landed up needing to rest from the cold and ice and headed to find warmth and food. Wonderful day. It’ll be different tomorrow as Elbows will have completely shed work and we’ll be free … so lots planned.
I’ve never seen a shop full of rubber ducks. It was so tempting to buy loads, at least, one for each member of the family, but I resisted and walked out duckless.
