Winter glow

Winter chill has not been a very big factor this year (so far), and apart from a few very cold days, our temperatures have been very mild and moderate.

Lovely day time temperatures allow us to go with short sleeves outside. This is excellent gardening weather. But with the water restrictions, we do little in that respect.

Since the sun barely shows its face above the roof of my neighbor's house, our homes have cooled down and inside we have to cover up.

Fortunately for us way down south, within hours the sun will start on it's return phase and soon my washing will be able to dry on the line again.

For the blippers in the northern hemisphere - I do hope that your mid-summer days will last a little longer - it is still fresh in my mind what a severe winter you had ..
