Four crows waiting

I noticed the crows were in the spruce waiting for their morning peanuts. The picture was taken through the window, obviously. I like the framing of the things on the shelf and those far distant crows waiting on me to get out there. I just cropped way in for the extra.
These are very cagey rural crows. I never can get close to them. I like to go out early and if I don't see them I will give my superb...(eye-roll) crow call and wait to hear them. Sometimes they will fly in when they hear me. That is pretty cool. Then they sit in the spruce or one of the apple trees until I leave.
We are waiting for the rain and then snow to fall. I'm sure glad I don't have to drive in the morning!
