Bournemouth Christmas Lights

It’s been a drizzly damp day for Tess’s birthday but we managed a walk along the prom towards Boscombe after breakfast and then a mooch round the Christmas market and the shops, interspersed with a lunchtime drink in Wetherspoons and another mid afternoon stop for coffee and cake.

This evening we celebrated with a meal of Greek maze in a restaurant near the park which hosts the Christmas lights display.

Weather wise, we’ve got away lightly: back home they’ve had torrential rain all day and flooding bad enough to close schools and shops early.
