Rammstein

OK so this isn't the best photo ever - it was the best I could manage given the circumstances though. If you've never seen Rammstein live before, allow me to set the scene. They're very into their pyrotechnics, they organise their stunts themselves. During this set, they set fire to a stage hand, had a shower of flaming sparks, wielded a longbow of fireworks, flame-cooked the keyboard player inside a big pot, sang through flaming microphones and spurted numerous jets of flame all over the shop. Fireworks, explosions, it was all going on.

In addition to this, they also like to put on a very 'interesting' physical performance. During one song, Bück Dich, the lead singer Til Lindemann sodomises the keyboard player using a hydraulic penis, while riding a platform rising above the stage, and then ejaculates over the crowd and himself. Given that there are kids at the festival, I wondered how their parents would explain this show! "When a hugely muscular German Dom and a weedy little Sub love each other very much..."

The show was super awesome. I love this band!
