Christmas lunch

This year we met at a local Italian restaurant for the WI Christmas lunch. It was better in so many ways than the local golf club where we met last year. Not only was it about half the price, the food was very much better. I had mango and prawns for my starter and veal for my main course. The tiramisu looked delicious for dessert but I had already eaten too much! About forty members came to this lovely social occasion. N took me there and friend Ann brought me home. On the way back we called in at a stylish new gift shop and I crossed two excellent items off my list.
