While waiting for a parcel I washed the kitchen floor and did other jobs around the house. Also took a photo of the first blades of grass peeping through the snow on the back lawn in case I didn’t get out later and filled all the bird feeders which I can now get to safely.

There was no delivery time for the parcel, a new fan heater to replace my ancient one.
It arrived just after 1 o’clock which gave me a chance to go out in search of snowy hills. There wasn’t much snow left on Wansfell this morning but I found more on the fells east of Grasmere.
