Special chocolates...

...for my birthday...

From Gareth's in Tynemouth - festive enough? Such a shame they have to be eaten fairly quickly - but I'll manage to struggle on... The ingredients in the truffles are fresh, and include cream, so they only last a few days... 

Lots of birthday wishes, both card and electronic this morning, and presents including books, chox, sox and wine... what's not to like?

A lovely meal out with Helen & Mike at lunchtime - we may even have ordered profiteroles, my favourite pud ;)
