It was all about...

...the canals and the celebrating today...

A wet day in Amsterdam, but we ate and drank our way through the day...
 
First a hot chocolate with cream on our way to the Anne Frank House. Next an electric boat tour round the canals, followed by traditional Dutch pancakes for lunch. 

A walk back to our hotel then, to find a bottle of fizz, arranged by friends, in our room. What's not to like!

Going back to the Argentine Steak House for a meal presently, before sorting our bags for an early start tomorrow.

A lovely way to celebrate a big birthday!
