There's a secret Santa collection at the gym for presents for young people whose families are struggling, broken up or for those in care. It's supporting a local health centre/charity fairly local to the gym. There's a Christmas tree with gift tags on, each with a little detail to help you buy an appropriate gift. Fourteen year old boys, about as far out of my field of expertise as it's possible to get but I feel like crying when I think of theses boys I'll never meet. We (finally) have a firmly embedded no present rule in the house but it's out of choice (mostly mine to be fair) and the thought of families and children being without a little something, anything, makes me sad.
