He doesn't look happy, but he is! His advent calendar from Elizabeth. And actually, he was even happier when Elizabeth arrived unexpectedly (to him, not us). She was taking him to spend the night with her, as we have to go away out to the hospital in Haddington at the crack of dawn.

JR has taken Archie out several times today - it's been sunny, but icy cold. I've just been sitting around feeling sorry for myself. Drinking the awful gloop they make you take, and dealing with the dramatic results.
