What a day!!

A minus 2 temp this morning was a chilly start. I headed for my knit and natter group and was met with the news that the business that hosts it is closing after Christmas. It only opened in May so this was a big surprise. We were upstairs in the building for a change as it was so cold,  so I took the opportunity to have a look around and found this interesting room. The ladies attending discussed what we can do to help.

This afternoon I spent a long and frustrating time on the phone trying to get some sense out of the company that provided the security system in our Lincolnshire home. We cancelled the contract in September when we sold the house and they acknowledged the cancellation in writing, but keep sending us bills and even had the cheek to tell me today that they have had a message to say that a battery in one of the alarms needs changing. In the end they did say that then had made an error. Well that was 2hrs of my life wasted, fortunately they had rung me back so they were paying for the phone call.
