Berries, Baubles and Bella!

Gorgeous frosty walkies this morning. We were going to go up the track this morning but when we got to the level crossing I couldn't open the gate as it was frozen into muddy ice at the bottom.
We turned back and went a different walk at the other side of the railway lines and Bella was able to have a zoom around the frosty field.
Once home I went in the art room to sketch but I found myself struggling to draw small things and remembered I had meant to make an appointment with Specsavers (Yes, more specs!) - I used to have a pair for close up work but I sat on them…remember?
So I have an appointment for tomorrow to get a new pair. Meantime I can only draw things of a bigger scale for now.
I made delicious Cauliflower Cheese for tea (vegan of course) which we had with a baked potato and sausages. Yum yum yum!
We’re watching a good film called The Father, we watched the first half last night. It stars Anthony Hopkins and Olivia Colman.
