Here Comes Santa Claus

Wow.  

It was.Santa.night tonight.  That sneaked up on me

I heard the dulcet tones of Shane McGowan.in The distance and looked out the window......  Not sure ..the neighbours might just have been having a moment 

Himself went upstairs for cash (Santa ain't free you know)...  And I opened the door.  Heavens it was a.bit cold 

As i looked along the street two Elves went into next door and one shouted. 'does Si still love there?  I'm one of his scouts:

Si stuck his head out confused as said Scout came into garden and said ' I'm the Scout leader now - and I try so hard to make Scouts.as fun as you did. :  I never realised the effort it took and I never appreciated it at the time but I do now -  Thank you.:

By this time there were approximately six elves in the garden all in various stages of asking Si if he would come back to the scouts


He said 'no'

He's done his time
