What joy!
Sun all the way down to Bath where it had started to cloud up as it was warmer.
We stopped at Woolley Edge services for a loo break and decided to have a coffee (not out usual place). It was really icy under foot in the car park and the exit road was shot ice!
Arrived in Bath late afternoon and in plenty of time to head to Eda’s school for her Natvity. We met Grace coming up the road so she took her car home and we all went together. It’s a very tiny hamlet and parking is difficult and so we got there early and were first in. So front row seats.
So wonderful to be part of these special occasions. We were here in the same church for the harvest festival in October. Both lovely experiences .
Eda is in Apple class which is Reception and Class 1 and they performed the main parts of the Nativity story with older classes doing the singing and narrating. Eda and her friend were Golden Angels and had a dance and some lines which she did very well.
She also was a winner in the picture competition for the programme and you can see her donkey illustration, at the right of the page below the words for Little Donkey
A great start to our few days here.
I’ve added an extra of Eda dancing with the other children's faces blurred
