Grumpy!

Both the heron and little egret were back sharing their fishing space around the weir at Trentham Gardens.

Unfortunately the background is no longer a pretty hue of trees since the monstrous fence was put in the water to keep the beavers in......

The amount of money and effort to house the beavers could have been better spent to enhance and encourage the huge variety of wildlife already found here. And with a much better chance of experiencing them in such a way that you can get up close without disturbing them.
