Trees in Fairmilehead Park

A different day. After the late night rain on frozen ground, I was surprised to see nearly dry conditions. There was even a hint of blue sky before the clouds rolled in, and the lights had to be switched on. A dry walk at lunchtime, but very murky. no views of any sort. Just a bit of colour from the last needles remaining on the larch trees and the marcescent leaves of the oak and beech trees, plus the grass.

The rain starts with some earnest in the afternoon. Definitely need the lights on now. The rain does go off for a late afternoon walk around the block, but reinvigorated for the last part of the walk, and especially from the shop to home.
