Tenterden High Street
We went down to Tenterden for me to attend a meeting late afternoon. Before that we had a walk around this lovely town and afterwards a pint and some peanuts at the Print House pub. And enjoyable drink in pleasant surrounding with a real fire.
While we were walking the hospital rang to say Doreen would be kept in over the weekend. Half an hour later the care home rang to day she was being discharged tomorrow….?
Not much to report about the morning. Susan went shopping. I filled in my tax returns.
The pub used to be a popular place for the early KESR preservationists. A long missing sign pointing to the railway was replaced this year and can just be seen below the pub sign.
I don’t think grimy preservationists would be so welcome nowadays.
