Gas leak in Maidstone

Early trip to Maidstone to meet gas engineer who made lots of tests and then capped off the gas supply at the meter to stop the gas leak. However that meant no gas to the boiler for heat or hot water. It now needs a replacement pipe between the boiler and the meter. Luckily I was able to make a booking for next Wednesday for an engineer; and the estate agent agreed to meet the gas fitters there. Fingers crossed we don't get any freezing weather causing burst pipes.
